Help someone in need

The other day I found myself sitting in a coffee shop with a friend and we started to talk to the man sitting at the table across from us. He reminded me how important it is to try every day to do a little good for somebody else, even a complete stranger, without expecting anything in return. This was the purpose for me writing this book.

There is a family who is in need of help. The father is a priest and both he and his wife do a great deal of work for their church. They do a lot of work with the youth of the community as well as the elderly. They also are involved in social outreach, helping put together packages of donated groceries for families in need every week.

Even with the amount of work they do, they barely earn enough money to pay for their weekly groceries. They are currently living on a premises owned by the church. Unfortunately though the church has decided to sell the property and the family has found themselves with nowhere else to go.

All the proceeds from the sale of this book will go towards getting them a home that would suite their needs, a home that nobody will be able to take away from them. My goal is to sell 250,000 copies of this book to make it happen. Please spread the news of it around and get as many friends and family as possible to buy it.

For every 50,000 copies sold I have decided to celebrate the occasion by auctioning off the 5 paintings in this book online. So one will be auctioned off at 50,000 sales, the second at 100,000 sales, the third at 150,000 sales, and the fourth at 200,000 sales and finally the cover art will be auctioned at the 250,000 sales mark. The proceeds from the auctioning of the pictures will also go to the family in need.

Follow me on twitter @NatsLau to find out when and where these online auctions will take place and to keep track of the success of the project.

Thank you for your support.
